In May, the National Park Service sponsors the Fur Trade Festival at the Kettle Falls Historical Center.

Classes register to attend during the school week, and a family event takes place on Saturday. Call NPS for registration information at (509) 754-7800, or sign up for the Forum’s eNews to find out when registration opens.

With historians, you’ll go back in time to the 1800s to participate in demonstrations and reenactments. Activities include Sign Talk, Women of the Fur Trade, Primitive Bow and Arrow, Life of a Free Trapper, Fur Trade Items, Local Fur Trade History and more!
