Each year the Forum collaborates with agencies, tribes, schools and others hosting the Lake Roosevelt Water Festival, Student Discovery Days, Fur Trade Festival and other K-12 student activities.

Lake Roosevelt Water Festival


Over 400 3rd-5th grade students from classrooms and home school groups sign-up for this fun filled learning event.

Student Discovery Days


This is an exceptional outdoor education opportunity for students in grades 4-6 and their teachers to explore the ecological, social and economic complexities of Lake Roosevelt’s watershed.

Fur Trade Festival


In May, the National Park Service sponsors the Fur Trade Festival at the Kettle Falls Historical Center.
