Wendy Christensen is a civil engineer and manages the Yakima River Basin Water Enhancement Project (YRBWEP) for the Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Cascades Area Office.

Wendy has led several large-scale infrastructure planning studies and construction projects during her 29 years of experience with Reclamation. She manages the Yakima River Basin Integrated Water Resource Management Plan―a comprehensive approach to manage water resources and ecosystem restoration improvements. Wendy has been instrumental in its success by fostering an environment of coordination and collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders in the Yakima River basin, which include the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, Federal, State, and local government agencies, environmental organizations, and irrigation districts.
