Fish Tag Prize Drawings

The fish tag prize drawing was initiated by the Lake Roosevelt Fisheries Evaluation Program to encourage anglers to return tags. Fish information gathered from anglers is used by managers to enhance the fisheries.

25 anglers that returned fish tags from rainbow trout captured in Lake Roosevelt were selected to receive gift certificates to Cabela's. Information gathered from anglers through the tagging program assist the Lake Roosevelt Fisheries managers with making decisions to improve the fishery.

Next Drawing: October 1, 2010

All fish tags collected between April 1, 2010 and September 30, 2010 will be included in the drawing. Tags will be randomly selected to receive gift certificates.

PRIZES INCLUDE:
$25 to $100 Gift Certificates to the Sportsman's Warehouse

ENTRY DEADLINES:
Tag information must be received by September 30, 2010.
Tags received after September 30 will go into a pool for the next drawing in April, 2011.

Sponsors for the gift certificates came from the Lake Roosevelt Fisheries Evaluation Program, the Sportsman's Warehouse, and the Lake Roosevelt Volunteer Net Pen Project. The Lake Roosevelt Fisheries Evaluation Program is a cooperative effort between the Spokane Tribe of Indians, the Colville Confederated Tribes, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Eastern Washington University. The Lake Roosevelt Fisheries Evaluation Program is funded by the Bonneville Power Administration.

Disclaimer: All paid personnel who work on any project related to the rainbow trout enhancement on Lake Roosevelt are excluded from the drawing.
